Same detector, two surfaces
Meta applies one provenance policy across its apps. A file that triggers AI Info on Instagram triggers it on Facebook, and a file that passes on one passes on the other. If you cross-post, clean once and use the same master everywhere.
The catch is re-export. Publishing tools, schedulers and design apps frequently rewrite the file on their way out, and some of them add credentials of their own. Clean at the very last step, on the exact asset that will be uploaded.
Pages, ads and personal profiles behave alike
Nothing about the check changes with account type. A creative uploaded through a page, a scheduler or the ads manager goes through the same inspection as a photo posted from a personal profile.

Does Facebook use the same AI detection as Instagram?
Yes. Both are Meta surfaces reading the same C2PA and XMP signals, so a file cleaned for one is cleaned for the other.
Can I remove the label from a Facebook post that is already up?
No. Facebook stores its own copy of the upload. Clean the original and repost if it matters enough.
Does it work on video?
Yes. Our video cleaner neutralises C2PA and XMP boxes inside MP4 and MOV files without re-encoding, so quality is untouched.
