What you may use this for
Files you own or have permission to process. The tool removes metadata from your own media; it is not a means of misrepresenting someone else's work as yours, and using it that way is outside these terms.
Platform rules and disclosure
Each platform sets its own rules about AI-generated content, and some jurisdictions impose disclosure obligations. Both remain your responsibility. Removing metadata from a file does not discharge a disclosure you owe, and nothing on this site should be read as encouragement to skip one.
No warranty
The tool is provided as is. Platform behaviour changes without notice, and we cannot guarantee any particular outcome on any platform. Keep your originals: the tool always produces a new file and never modifies the one you dropped, but a backup is still your own safeguard.
Limits of what the tool does
It removes file metadata. It does not remove pixel watermarks such as SynthID, it cannot alter content already published on a platform, and it has no effect on visual classifiers. These limits are stated throughout the site and are part of the product, not fine print.
